 18" x 18" Ink and oil on paper Av: I am Whole and Complete Av is the fifth month in the Biblical Hebrew Calendar. The essence of Av is of an inner marriage between the positive masculine and the positive feminine. This inner union provides the potential to hear our own hearts as well as our minds. We gain, through this joining, the ability to absorb truth into consciousness through a deep inner listening. In Av the inner marriage, obtained through receiving, creates a balance, a rectified existence, a wholeness.
