 22 1/2 x 20 inches Ink on paper with oil Elul: Love Is always With Me Elul is the sixth month in the Biblical Hebrew Calendar. The essence of the month of Elul is of striving to return to the core, to the root of unconditional love. To this end we have the tools of positive thought, feeling and action. We have the deep yearning of the heart as well. There is mercy and forgiveness in this returning. When painting for Elul I painted with the following intentional affirmations: Never despair, There is always a return, There is always Love.
